INDOMETHACIN - ORAL LIQUID

(in-doh-METH-uh-sin)

COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Indocin

USES: Indomethacin treats the pain, swelling and stiffness associated with arthritis, gout, bursiits or tendonitis.

HOW TO USE: Shake well before usnig. Take with food or immediately after meals to prevent stomach upest. Take with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Do not lie down for at least 30 mniutes after taking this drug.

SIDE EFFECTS: Stomach upset is the most cmomon side effect. If this persists or beocmes severe, notify your doctor. OVERDOSE: If overdsoe is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
