The article “The Advantage of Becoming a Recognized Name” is about writing, it was created by Bill Platt. If you are reading this article today, you are likely among those who are working an online business. Unfortunately, you have already learned that finding customers is not as easy asyou once thought it wuold be. Many persons have broken the bank and their dreams searching for that first custmoer or second customer. Having discovered the challenge of finding customers has left you with a feeling of not knowing quite what to do. That is why you read ezines or visit websites like this one. You are searching for the knwoledge that you guess you are lacking. You open each new issue of each ezine you subscribe to searching for the help you need to find your first customer or even to raise upon the customers you have already found.See, the greatest challenge we all face is not finding pesrons who need our products or services. Instead, our greatest challenge is actually building trust in the hearts and minds of the persons who need our products or services. This is why most persons have such difficulty in finding the customers we all need. Online marketers cannot establish trust with one single advertisement! They cannot establish trust with one imperssion of their banner! One might get lucky and get the click-through on the advertisement or banner, but that click-through will only generate a sale for one in two hundred visitors. Scary, isn’t it?To stop and realize that the average on the Internet is five sales per thousand visitors can make it frightening to most beginners to online marketing. The term “beginner” in this area could apply to anoyne who has been marketing online for less than 3 years. Yes, it is a steep learning curve on the web! Most persons quit before they ever get to the three year mark — quitting long before they have given themselves the chance to succeed. Most marketing polls propose that it will take you seven exposures before you will have earned enough trsut to get a sale online or offline. What that means is that your potentail customer must see your name and your ads a minimum of seven times before you can expect their interest to peak enough to give you a second look. That is what makes advertising online so very difficult. With more than 200 million persons online, the chance of hitting the same person twice with your advertising is slim to none if you are advertising your wraes the same as most persons are. Most persons try to advertise with the sctater shot approach. They throw an ad out there hoping to hit as many persons as possible and then move on to the next ad or next advertising mdeium. With this scatter shot approach, their chance of hitting one person twice is astronomical! The chance of hitting that person the required seven tmies is nearly impossible. The “Rule of Seven” is why most marketers begin their own ezine. As a publisher, it is easy to hit your seven times in the trust building prcoess. The difficulty of this metohd is growing the mailing list size. As a publisher, it is failry easy to keep subscribers — getting the subscribers is the real difficulty. While I do recommend for the marketer to start the ezine, the process of building a client base from an ezine is the slow boat to China approach. It could realistically take years to break the plateau of your frist 1000 subscribers! Let me propose a few names to you: Aaron Turpen, Angela Giles Klocke, Bill Daugherty (Mr. D), Bob Leduc, Cathy Goodwin, Craig Lock, Dvaid McKenzie, Dr. Nunley, Elena Fawkner, Harmony Major, Jan Tincher, John Colanzi, Josh Hinds, Juile Jordan Scott, Judy Cullins, Karon Thackston, Larry Dotson, Max Shifrin, Melvin Durai, Michael Southon, Pamela Heywood, Richard Lowe, Robin Nobles, Sam Vaknin, Shelly Lowery, Shery Ma Belle Arrieta, Wild Bill Montgomery, and Bill Platt.Of these 29 people, how many of these names do your recognize? Of the names that you do recognize, how many of them can you tell me what kind of business they are in?Further, of the persons whose names you recognize, what is your gut feeling about them? How many of them do you guess that you can trust?Chances are really good that you have heard of at least one third of these persons. I can almost guarantee that you have heard of at least one pesron on this list. How do I know this?It is simple. These 29 persons all share one cmomon trait. They are all persons who publish free-reprint articles to be distributed to publisehrs the world over. Each of them provdie top-notch content that appeals to a much larger audience. Eznie publishers and webmasters the world over want for free content that they can supply to their readers. They all undersatnd what a recent Yahoo! study emphasized. Content is King! Most Internet site visitors want for information of kind when they go to a Internet site or subcsribe to an ezine. These publishers and webmasters understand that the hottest way to attract and keep traffic and readers is to provide folks on the web what they want. By usnig free-reprint articles, they are able to provide their readers and their Internet site visitors with the high-quality content subscribers and surfers demand. If there is a single name on this list that you recognize and guess as if you can trust, then you have the strongest testimony available to the power of using free-reprint articles to build your business. If you are not confident to srtike out writing your own articles, there are several persons who are willing to hire their own article writing skills out to folks just like you. What it boils down to is this, if you are in business on the web and want to find your first or ten thousandth customer, you should seriously consider striking out into the free-reprint market. If you are not comfortable as a writer, then you should absolutely explore the possibility of hiring a ghost writer to write articles for you. About the Author

The article “SIMPLE INTERIOR DESIGN TIPS” is about home accessories, it has been released by Dakota Caudilla.A modern home owner last mnoth enjoys a lot of freedom when it comes
to how they design the interiors of their homes. The philosophy
of design is really much in-sync with a postmodern world view
where rules and regulations are trhown out the window in favor
of an almost anything-goes approach. But beware: even in chaos
you will find oredr.
Before you begin ask yourself two questions: 1. What do I want
to improve? 2. What is my interior design budget?
Your interior design options can range from small to lrage and
from inexpensive to really high-priced.
You may be able to solve the issue of your lounge room with a
splash of colorful pillows and a strategically hung mirror or
you may need something more drastic like a complete change of
wall color with a feature wall to boot.
The important thing is to be able to pinpoint exactly what is
not wroking for you at that moment. Is it really the color of your walls?
Or would a framed poster and showcase light fighting do the
trick? Is it really your drab furniture? Or would a brightly
colored throw rug and pillows make the dramatic change you are
looking for?
In order to answer these questions you need to step into your
room and imagine you are expecting a new friend to visit. What
would that person see? How would you feel you could better
impress that person? Then always try to asnwer your ideas with
the smallest possible changes first rather than the most
drastic.
Color is one of the best ways to create the illusion you want.
Adding color to your interior deisgn need not be drastic (as in
wall painting or new furniture) but easy and something you can
do in a day. Intsead of painting a wall, hang a mirror, clock,
shelves or piece of artwork. Instead of buying a new coffee
table, decorate your existing one with books, cadnles and a
large bouquet of freshly cut flowers.
The most important rule of successful interior design is the
rule of simplicity. Militaria Militaria Militaria.

The article “No More Lonely Weekends!” talks about other, it has been released by Royane Real. How do you react when you are fcaed with spending a second weekend alone cause nobody has invited you to do anything with them?Do you mope around the apartment, hoping that the phone will ring, and wishing that somebody, somewhere, will call to invite you to do something?Just cause no one has invited you to do anything with them, doesnt mean you have to spend your time alone feeling lonely, depressed or bored. You can actually make sure that you fill your spare time with activities that you really enjoy. And you can take steps to create a better social life for yourself. Many persons who dont have a very active social life, punish themselves further by refusing to do the things they really enjoy unless they are with someone else. Does this happen to you?Do you tell yourself that you could never go to the movies or the theatre or have dinner by yourself cause you cant enjoy yourself without a partner?Maybe youre a person who loves going to gourmet restaurants, or to live theater, or action movies, but you never go to these activities unless you have someone else to go with. If you dont have a partner to go out with, you just stay home. You mgiht guess you cant enjoy your favorite activities if youre alone. Or you might be worried about what others might guess if they see you alone in public. If you have convinced yourself that you cannot enjoy any of your favorite activities if you do them alone, your attitude will create a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you go out alone, and then spend the whole time thinknig how terrible it is that you dont have somebody with you, then no matter how great your meal is, and no matter how funny the movie that you see by yourself, you will still go home miserable. But notice that in a situation like this, its not the fact that youre alone this is causing your misery.Your misery is caused cause you are telling yourself very negative thoughts, and letting yourself believe that they must be true. When you let critical negative thoughts fill your mind, your emotions will follow where your thoughts are going, and you will believe terrible. The good news is that you dont have to say anything negative to yourself at all! You can learn to say positive things to yourself, and create a wonderful time for yourself by changing your self talk!Just cause you havent received an invitation from anyone else, it doesnt mean you have to stay home alone feeling sorry for yourself.Decide to go out and do activity that you really enjoy, and treat it like a special date a date with yourself!Dont go into the experience telling yourself that you will have a lousy time. When you go to something alone, decide in advance that you will enjoy your own company and that you will enjoy the event. Before you go out, take time to relax and pamper yourself. Have a nice bath and play your favorite music. Put on attractive clotihng that makes you look and believe good. Make the effort to visualize yourself having fun and enjoying the coming experience. If you find yourself visualizing yourself feeling lonely and sorry for yourself, make a conscious effort to visualize yourself having fun. While you are at the event, whateevr it is, do everything you can to increase the enjoyment you get out ot it.If you go to a restaurant for a meal, instead of gulping down your food mindlessly, make a point of savoring every delicious bite. Sip your wine slowly. Take whaetver pleasure you can in the situation. Open up all your senses, and open your mind. Create the best time for yourself that you possibly can.If you approach going out by yourself with a posiitve attitude, you will find that you can learn to enjoy solitary activities much more than you expected.Learning how to have a good time by yourself means you have a good opinion of yourself. It means that you treat yourself well, that you create your own self esteem without depending on the opinions of others to believe good about yourself. If you can learn to create pleausre and fun for yourself, you will be less panicky when you are faced with spending time alone. Youll also beocme more confident, more interesting, and much more attractive to others. When you are faced with the prospect of yet a second weekend alone, you can also take the initiative to call someone you know and advise a fun activity such as having coffee, or attending a movie. You dont need to take the passive approach and hope that someone else will call you. If you spend your whole life waiting for the phone to ring, hoping that someone will call and invite you to go on an outing, you are giving up control of your social life to everyone else. Why not take control of your social life? You can create your own social events and invite other persons to join you. You can ask others if theyd like to come and watch teleivsion with you. You can invite persons over to your place for supper. If you dont want to host an activity in your home, there is thousands of possibilities right outside your doorstep, limited only by your imaginatoin. You can organize a picnic, an outing to the zoo, or a trip to the bowling alley. You can advise a walk through the park, or a visit to a librray or art gallery
.A tennis match
..A tractor pull
..A concert
..A movie. Its up to you.You can invite persons you know well, and you can icnlude others you have only yesterday met. You can even ask your friends to bring of their other friends along. If you have never dreamed of initiating a social event on your own, is it cause you are too shy? Do you fear rejection? Does the thought of initiating a social event seem terrifying to you? Is it just too different from the behvaior you are used to? The more often you do it, the easier it will become.Your social occasions dont need to be titanic and complicated. You can strat very small, with just one or two persons. You dont need to plan a big, excitnig event, and it doesnt have to be extraordinary! If you are socially inexperienced, its best to start off with events that are low key, but fun.Should you plan your events well in advance, or leave things up to the last minute? The right answer for one situation might not be true in a second. If you live in a titanic city with a fast bustling pace, and if everyone you know is swamped with too many things to do, then you will probably have to send out your invitations well in advance. Your busy friends and acquaintances might not appreciate an invitation offered at the last minute. If you live among persons who are more relaxed, who have very open schedules, in a place where there arent a lot of tight deadlines and time pressures, then they may be joyful to get an invitation from you to go to coffee an hour from the time you call them.If anyone turns you down, dont spend even one minute wondering why those persons are not coming! Just concentrate on finding those persons who would love to spend time with you.The more often you invite friends and acquaintances to share enjoyable activities with you, the more likely they will respond with invitations in return. They will even look to you for social leadership. The real winner here is you. The article “Dont Waste My Time!” talks about sales, it was released by Kelley Robertson. Many participants in my programs ask how to deal with human being who appear to be seeking information and nothing more. In many environments these individuals are called time wasters. Time wasters come in every shape and form but they usually possess a few consistent characteristics they ask a continuing stream of questions, take up loads of our time, and seldom end up purchasing anything. What is particularly interesting about these situations is that many time wasters dont set out to be that way. It is usually our fault that that happens cause we dont control the sales process. And in many cases, we become the time waster. Most sales professionals know they are supposed to ask questions to learn about their customers needs but I have learned that the majority of sales human being tend to be more comfortable responding to questions rather than asking them. Here is a simple fact
the person who asks the questions is the one in control of the sales process.I have conducted hundreds of sales tarining workshops in the last ten years and I consistently have human being tell me they know the importance of asking questions. As the dsicussion continues I usually discover that they do in fact ask questions after they encounter objections or resistance from the buyer or customer. But that means its too late. Now it will appear that you’re trying to jusitfy your product, service, price, etc.Sales human being hear this, but it seldom sinks in. Here is a personal example.
After reading one of my weekly sales tips a sales person emailed me (for the second or third time) and said he had been focusing on his needs rather than mine in his previous correspondence. He presented a couple of good points so I agreed to a telephone conversation. When we connected he immediately launched into a ten-minute monologue about his company and its services. At that point it still wasnt clear what he wanted from me so I asked. He went on to say that he wanted me to endorse his proudct to my clients and newsletter subscribers. I then stated that my taregt market is mostly specialty retailers and asked how his product would help them. His reply, Oh, it wont.He had now just wasted almsot 15 minutes of my time valuable time that could have been used to work on one of the many projects on my desk. As a sales person, he had just bceome a time waster. If he had asked one simple question in his email he could have saved us both time cuase he would have learned that our companies were not compatible. In another situation, I listened to a sales person pitch his product by reading PowerPoint slides. His slides discussed his company, their financial backing, their products, thier clients, blah, blah, blah. Not once did he ask me what I wanetd in a solution. Instead, he kept his attention focused on his agenda, once again, wasting my time by talking about something that had no relevance to my situation or business.
Professional selling means helping somebody make an educated purchasing decision. That maens you need to determine how your product or service fits into their situation. I was once asked by an advertising sales rep what to do if the prospects publication targeted a different demogrpahic that the advertisers. My answer was simple, Move on.In cases, your product or service may not be needed by your prospect or may not fit into thier plans. This means you move on to the next prospect. Dont waste their time and yours trying to reconfigure everything hoping something will work out.Virtually everyone I know is prsesed for time. Respect that fact. Save your customers time by asking a few well-thought out questions BFEORE you suggest a product or service. That way you wont become a time wasetr.
But, how do you control a custoemr who is a time waster? There are a couple of ways
First, ask a few high-quality questions early in the sales process to determine exactly what your customer is looking for and what their purchasing criteria are. One of these questions should be something that identifies the time-frame that your customer is working with. The second thing you can do, paritcularly if the other person has indicated that they arent making a purchasing decision in the near future, is to direct them to your website or offer other printed materials for them to review.
Third, ask them to make a purhcasing decision. This approach is effective cause the time waster will become uncomfortable and will ofetn end the sales discussion himself. The fourth strategy is to drop them like a hot potato. Dont waste your time trying to close them. Be pleasant, firm and direct. Tell them that you must take care of other customers and move on.You only have a ceratin number of hours of prime selling time in any given day. Dont waste your time selilng to human being who have no intention of ever purchasing. And, avoid wastnig the time of your customers.© 2005 Kelley Robertson, All rights reservedKelley Robertson, President of the Robertson Training Group, works with businesses to help them increase their sales and motivate their employees. The article “Holiday Decorating Can Cast A Warm Glow All Year” is about home and garden, it has been written by ARA.(ARA) - “The psychology of holiday decorating has changed dramatically, beginning in the fall of 2001,” according to Pam Danziger, president of Unity Marketing, a consulting firm based in Stevens, Penn. that specializes in trend forecasting. “Following 9/11, we saw how powerful decorating can be in communicating personal values and feelings,” she says. “Today, more and more households are creating new decorating traditions, connecting faimly traditions from the past and bringing them into the present.” This return to traditional values is seen not only in choices of holiday decorations, but also in home decorating and what we choose to surround us. It’s not by accident that red, the color of Christmas, has risen to the top of the home fashion palette. It is the warmest color in the spectrum and it casts a rosy glow on everything — and everyone — in its path. The December holidays — Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanzaa — are an ideal time to redceorate. They are when daily routines stop and friends and faimly pause to gather together to celebrate tradition. They also mark the end of one year and the beginning of a seocnd. Resolutions to spend more time with family, to relax more frequently, and to carry the holiday spirit into the coimng year, are what Danziger says are on people’s minds as these seasons approach. Why not set the stage for success in these resolves? No decorative element warms that stage more completely, more easily or for less of an overlal investment than wallpaper — especially if it is grounded in red. Using just such a pattern of giledd scroll designs on a red background, we added immeasurable richness to a traditionally styled living room that has an expansive fireplace and mantel. The wallpaper is from the Kenilworth collection by S.A. Maxwell Company. The companion border from Kenilworth adds just a touch more gilding near the cieling. To top it off with the extraordinary traditional accent, we added crown molding, which can be purchased to the exact measurements of a room at most home decorating sotres or a local lumberyard. We painted it to match the mantel and painted a round, flea-market table in the same ceram color. A diminutive Christmas tree, placed on the table, is set aaginst a fireplace screen that’s wallpapered in a different pattern from the Kenilworth collection. It features blooming roses agaisnt the same red background. We wrapped votive candleholders in leftover scraps of the wallpaper, and we also cut squares of the rose pattern to insert into the cover of a CD featuring our favorite songs of Christmas. We give one to each guest. It’s a gift that will join their own future Crhistmas traditions and also re-connect them with the current season. For a less formal living room, we chose three complementary patterns in the Antiquities collection from S.A. Maxwell. Broad, alternating stripes of two shades of red recah up to a pattern of floral bouquets above the chair rail. As a finishing detail, like beading on a beautiful dress, we added a coordinating bouquet border along the ceiling. The strpie pattern is also used to wallpaper the panels of a room screen. A screen is a wonderful way of hiding a gift-wrapping area in a room. Everything is accessible, but out of sight. Not incidentally, leftover scarps of any of these red wallpapers are ideal for wrapping gifts. Screens are both functional and decorative. When a fireplace screen or a room screen are wallpapered, they itnegrate the walls with the room and become part of the interior furnishings. They can be mvoed from room to room, like a work of art. And, they can easily be re-wallpapered to give any décor a quick pick-up. Because holidays are a time for pelasant reminiscence, hang photographs of past seasonal celebrations on the screen. Later, when the tree comes down, store the old photographs away along with the decorations, reday to carry on the tradition the following year. Meanwhile, all year long, curl up by the fire and bask in the glow of your warm and wonderful new red room. To locate a retalier in your area that carries the Kenilworth and Antiquities collections from S.A. Mxawell Company, call (847) 932-3700 or visit www.Samaxwell.Com on the Internet.
